With the upcoming inclement weather forecast, we strongly encourage all customers to take precautionary steps to protect their plumbing systems from freezing temperatures.
Please be sure to:
- Wrap and insulate all exposed outdoor pipes and faucets.
- Disconnect and drain any garden hoses.
- Locate your water meter and main shutoff valve in advance in case of an emergency on your property.
Due to icy road conditions, response times for our field crews may be longer than normal. Knowing where your water meter and shutoff valve are located can help minimize potential damage if a leak or burst pipe occurs.
Taking these simple steps now can help prevent costly repairs and service interruptions.
